MetaGone is designed around a single principle: your photos and your data never leave your Mac.

What we collect

Nothing. MetaGone does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information or usage data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.

How your photos are handled

• All processing happens locally on your device. Photos are never uploaded to any server.
• MetaGone reads the photos you choose, writes cleaned copies to the folder you select, and removes location and hidden metadata in the process.
• Your original files are never modified or deleted.
• MetaGone does not connect to the internet.

Network use

MetaGone makes no network connections. It works fully offline.

Data shared with third parties

None. Because no data is collected or transmitted, none is shared.

Children's privacy

MetaGone does not collect any data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new “Last updated” date.
